scam or not?

they call me all the time and i dont know how to stop it cinsidering their 'do not call' option is a load of bull. as of now, my only option is to block it thru verizon

received call on my cell phone from this number. Left no message.

Sardar: U cheated me. Shopkeeper: No, I sold a good radio to u. Sardar: Radio label shows Made in Japan but radio says this is 'All India Radio! '

First call came 1:40 PM. They said they are from Charlotte Firefighters and they asked for donation. Second call came 3:40 PM. This time they said ther are from fighters and want to know whether the fire alaram batteries are replaced in my home or not.

This number keeps calling all hours of the day every day of the week. When I answer, there is nothing, dead air. I stay on the phone for up to 5 minutes and still nothing. I call back and the number is busy.. STOP CALLING ME!!!!!!!!!!!

With the name on the caller ID I assume it's a telemarketer. We are on the do not call registry AND my phone company provides a recording when they call. They completely ignore it and call through. It really PI$$ES me off!!!!!! Last night at 5:29 PM this call came in. I know it's nothing but someone trying to sell me something over the phone! I don't do phone purchases and WON'T do phone purchases because of the amount of scams. Every time I've ever purchased something in the past, I've ended up scammed and had to go through MONTHS of trying to get my money back when it wasn't what they said it was. BTDT Won't do it again!!!!!!!!!

This person tries to get you to put a security system in your yard and when you refuse you get robbed in the next few days without a trace, I believe they ask info in order to figure out your security system in order to rob you.

these calls need to stop!
